Meet Dr. Mendoza

Dr. J.Carlos Mendoza has been in the field of dentistry for over 14 years.  He graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a B.S. Degree in Environmental Science (2004) and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from one of America’s most distinguished dental schools, the University of California at Los Angeles (2009). At the UCLA School of Dentistry, Dr. Mendoza received the George F. Baker Scholarship and the prestigious National Health Service Corps Scholarship.

  • What is one thing on your bucket list? “Cycle in Paris, France”

Meet Hovannes M., our Registered Dental Assistant!

He was born and raised in Boston, MA. When not assisting at the dental office, his hobbies include playing  =basketball with friends, watching action movies and intense video gaming. On the weekends, he enjoys spending time with his girlfriend partaking in adventure walks, exploring and learning new things! He claims to have excellent dexterity and perceptual ability for Xbox video games. The holidays are his favorite time of year when he is able to fully enjoy the presence of friends and family.

Meet Stephanie R., our Registered Dental Hygienist!

Stephanie was born and raised in Fresno, California. She has been a dental hygienist for over 6 years. She has a gentle nature and loves making people laugh. One of her favorite things as a dental hygienist is educating patients in a fun and positive way and calming and reassuring their dental fears and anxieties. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband of 18 years and her 3 teenage children. Some of her hobbies include trying new things and visiting new places as a family. Last year some of those things included a midnight candle light tour at Winchester Mystery House and horse back riding in Monterey.

  • What five things are always in your fridge? “Almond milk, coffee creamer, eggs, salsa & mixed greens.” 

Meet Karla Gomez, our Registered Dental Assistant!

She grew up in the small town of Kingsburg. Has always had a passion for helping others and not one who gives up easily. On her free time Karla enjoys spending time with my family and friends, watching movies or playing lotería. She is always looking forward to the winter , due to the  holiday festivities when shes able to drink some hot chocolate.
